NAID AAA Certification® verifies that all sensitive data is destroyed in strict compliance with data protection laws through scheduled and surprise audits by trained, accredited security professionals, fulfilling customers’ regulatory due diligence obligations. This is a voluntary program for companies, which ProTek Recycling is enthusiastically taking part in to ensure the highest order protection for all our customers’ data.
What is a NAID Certification?
ProTek Recycling is an electronic waste and recycling company registered in New York State. At ProTek, we destroy sensitive information by shredding hard drives, computers, laptops, tape drives, cell phones and other similar devices. NAID is a worldwide operation which has certified approximately 1,000 service providers over five continents. Due to its rigorous compliance checks and first-rate standards, it is the standard data destruction verification for numerous government and private agencies.
According to the strict regulations by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID), NAID AAA Certification audits companies, using both scheduled and surprise appointments to ensure all regulations are appropriately followed. After using ProTek Recycling’s data destruction services, customers are provided with a certificate of destruction for documentation purposes. Note that ProTek Recycling will never share your sensitive information with third parties. Only ProTek employees will be tasked with picking up, transferring, and destroying any data-carrying devices.
